Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT8P39 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT8P39 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher KRT8P39 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT8P39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and STAD show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and MESO are the cancer types where KRT8P39 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
