Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT8P34 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT8P34 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher KRT8P34 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT8P34 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and READ show a favorable association.

THCA, PAAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where KRT8P34 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
