Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT87P Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRT87P data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher KRT87P Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT87P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, LUAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where KRT87P Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
