Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT37 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT37 data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher KRT37 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT37 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and ESCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, BRCA, and PCPG are the cancer types where KRT37 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
