Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT18P36 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT18P36 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher KRT18P36 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT18P36 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LGG show a favorable association.

UVM, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where KRT18P36 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
