Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT17P5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRT17P5 data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher KRT17P5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT17P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM are the cancer types where KRT17P5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
