Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT17P2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRT17P2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher KRT17P2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT17P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and UCEC are the cancer types where KRT17P2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
