Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRIT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRIT1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher KRIT1 Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRIT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUAD, and LUSC are the cancer types where KRIT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
