Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRBOX1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRBOX1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher KRBOX1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRBOX1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and MESO show a favorable association.

THCA, LUSC, and UVM are the cancer types where KRBOX1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
