Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KPNA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KPNA6 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KPNA6 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KPNA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where KPNA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
