Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KPNA6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KPNA6 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher KPNA6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KPNA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where KPNA6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
