Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KMT5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KMT5B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher KMT5B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KMT5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, UCS, and LIHC are the cancer types where KMT5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
