Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KMT2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KMT2B data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher KMT2B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KMT2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCS, ACC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KMT2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
