Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KMT2A RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KMT2A data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher KMT2A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KMT2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and HNSC show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KMT2A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
