Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLRC4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLRC4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher KLRC4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLRC4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, BLCA, and UCS are the cancer types where KLRC4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
