Across TCGA cell cohorts, KLK5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,283 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KLK5-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Antimicrobial peptide production, Antimicrobial peptide biosynthetic process, and Antibacterial peptide production. Each is linked with KLK5 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KLK5-to-partner and partner-to-KLK5 results are reported.
