Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHL8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLHL8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher KLHL8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHL8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, MESO, and PRAD are the cancer types where KLHL8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
