Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHL6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLHL6 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KLHL6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHL6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where KLHL6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
