The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KLHL40 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHL40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC are the cancer types where KLHL40 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
