Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHL30 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of KLHL30’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where KLHL30 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types KLHL30 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BLCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BLCA, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where KLHL30 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
