Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHL18 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KLHL18 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher KLHL18 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHL18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and READ show a favorable association.
ACC, KICH, and UCS are the cancer types where KLHL18 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
