Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHDC7A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLHDC7A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher KLHDC7A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHDC7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and UCEC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KLHDC7A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
