Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHDC1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KLHDC1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher KLHDC1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHDC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.
SKCM, PAAD, and MESO are the cancer types where KLHDC1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
