Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF16 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher KLF16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KLF16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
