Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF12 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KLF12 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, PCPG, and HNSC are the cancer types where KLF12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
