Across TCGA patient cohorts, KIZ mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 30 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KIZ-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, ATM, and 14-3-3_beta. Each is linked with KIZ in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KIZ-to-partner and partner-to-KIZ results are reported.
