Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIR2DL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIR2DL3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher KIR2DL3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIR2DL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

THYM, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KIR2DL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
