KIF5A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, KIF5A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,849 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KIF5A-associated genes across cancer lineages are SEC13, RFWD3, and PPM1D. Each is linked with KIF5A in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KIF5A-to-partner and partner-to-KIF5A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, SEC13 grouped by KIF5A-low versus KIF5A-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (KIF5A→partner) and Y-score (partner→KIF5A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
