Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIF2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIF2A data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KIF2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIF2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where KIF2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
