Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA2012-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KIAA2012-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher KIAA2012-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA2012-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and OV show a favorable association.

THCA, KIRC, and BRCA are the cancer types where KIAA2012-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
