Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA1671 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 12 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of KIAA1671’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where KIAA1671 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types KIAA1671 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, KIRC, and THCA are the cancer types where KIAA1671 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
