Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0930 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA0930 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher KIAA0930 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0930 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and HNSC show a favorable association.

LSCC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KIAA0930 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
