Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0586 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA0586 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KIAA0586 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0586 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.

LUAD, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where KIAA0586 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
