Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KHDC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KHDC1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher KHDC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KHDC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where KHDC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
