Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KEAP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KEAP1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KEAP1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KEAP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LSCC show a favorable association.
COAD, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where KEAP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
