Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCTD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCTD2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher KCTD2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCTD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THCA, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KCTD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
