Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCTD17 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCTD17 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher KCTD17 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCTD17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, HNSC, and PDAC are the cancer types where KCTD17 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
