Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCTD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCTD1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher KCTD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCTD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where KCTD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
