Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNS3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCNS3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher KCNS3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
DLBC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KCNS3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
