Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNIP1-OT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KCNIP1-OT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher KCNIP1-OT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNIP1-OT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

OV, BRCA, and KICH are the cancer types where KCNIP1-OT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
