Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCNG2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher KCNG2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD show a favorable association.
CESC, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where KCNG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
