Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KCNE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KCNE2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher KCNE2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KCNE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, STAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where KCNE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
