Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KBTBD6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KBTBD6 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher KBTBD6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KBTBD6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KBTBD6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
