Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KAT8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KAT8 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher KAT8 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KAT8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THCA, KIRP, and UCEC are the cancer types where KAT8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
