Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KAT2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KAT2A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KAT2A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KAT2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where KAT2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
