Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KAT14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KAT14 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KAT14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KAT14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
COAD, SKCM, and LUSC are the cancer types where KAT14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
