JOSD2

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, JOSD2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of JOSD2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where JOSD2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types JOSD2 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

KIRC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where JOSD2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
