Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IZUMO1R RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IZUMO1R data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IZUMO1R RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IZUMO1R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BRCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, BRCA, and PAAD are the cancer types where IZUMO1R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
