Across TCGA patient cohorts, ITGB1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,537 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ITGB1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL9, ACTA2, and CNN1. Each is linked with ITGB1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ITGB1-to-partner and partner-to-ITGB1 results are reported.
