Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITGA2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITGA2B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher ITGA2B Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITGA2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and COAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, BRCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where ITGA2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
